DA stud welding chucks are completely standardised and come in two main types: British Standard and Euro Type. British Standard chucks are tapered and finished in black. Euro Type chucks, on the other hand, have a 10mm tapped hole in the rear, which screws together with a 10mm thread in the stud welding gun. This type of stud welding chuck is finished in nickel. Both types are generally made of steel and the chuck diameter needed matches the diameter of the DA weld studs you are using.
