Stud Welding System

The SPi-10 stud welding machine is the latest drawn arc controller within the Taylor Studwelding range. The single phase 230v/110v drawn arc inverter equipment has been designed following consumer feedback to include new features which enhance the ease of use and welding efficiency. The R&D team have taken full advantage of the most up to date inverter technology to create this robust, portable and economic stud welding machine with microcomputer control.

The stud welding machine is a single-phase, drawn arc controller which is designed to weld up to 10mm reduced base studs. It boasts of a robust construction offering an economic and reliable method of fixing Mild Steel and Stainless Steel studs. Operation of the machine is fast, accurate and easy, allowing you to weld up to M10 RD studs in places where a traditional three-phase power supply for this type of equipment is not available.

The SPi-10 features a visual multi-functional display and has an in-built self-diagnosis system for fault checks, ensuring a consistent safe, quality process every time. You can store up to 25 welding programs and carry out welds in both standard and Short Cycle (SC) modes. The system is designed and built in the UK to exacting standards and meets all required standards. The System SPi-10 is CE and UKCA marked. Taylor Studwelding also supply compatible hand tools for use with the SPi-10 machine; specifically the DA2A, DA7B and DA8A hand tools.
